Abstract

The current descriptive study aimed to determine the role of digital technology on the academic performance of undergraduate students at public sector universities. The investigation focused on 7628 students studying at public sector universities in the district of Multan, South Punjab, Pakistan. Three hundred and fifty (350) undergraduate students made up the investigation's sample, selected using a simple random sampling approach. The data analysis procedure included descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation), inferential statistics (Pearson correlation coefficients), and regression models. The findings revealed that the use of digital technologies had a significant impact on students' learning and performance in education. The study recommended that universities should conduct educational campaigns to foster appreciation of the benefits of using technology.
